In the spirit of our constant effort to nurture the individuality of our students, this distinctive event was observed with great enthusiasm. GUB students from different ethnolinguistic backgrounds represented their respective language, literature, and culture. The first presenter, Sohel Chakma, represented the Chakma community through his speech. Jotirmoy Hajong discussed the unique linguistic, literary, and cultural features of the Hajong. After that, Mahshiat Tahsin elaborated the history and evolution of the Bangla language and literature, prioritizing the Modern and Contemporary periods. The fourth speech on Garo language, literature, and culture was delivered by Mohona Chisim. Lastly, Shanta Tripura stated the remarkable aspects of Tripura language, literature, and tradition.

Hosted by Ms. Halima Akter Sathi, the event was live streamed on the official Facebook page of GUB. Dr. Abul Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Sociology & Anthropology, Green University of Bangladesh, graced the event with his presence as the Chief Guest. He motivated the presenters and the organizers by appreciating their efforts and stressing the need for such programs to acknowledge ethno-linguistic diversity. Rafi Saleh, faculty member (adjunct) from James Cook University, Australia, also joined this event as a Special Guest.

All five presenters received certificates from the organizers and compliments from the audience. With an optimistic note to continue offering stages like this in the upcoming days to uphold indigenous language and culture, the engaging event came to an end with the vote of thanks from Ms. Serajum Munira, Director of Language Center.
