Certificate Giving Ceremony of Pre-University English Language Certificate Course
The Department of English and the Language Centre, Green University of Bangladesh have held a successful Certificate Giving Ceremony on Zoom for the “Pre-University English Language Certificate Course” (which was conducted from 02.01.2021 to 02.02.2021) on 16.04.2021 from 3.00 PM to 3.50 PM.
130 students registered for the course and our faculty members conducted 13 classes on the basic skills of English language. Through continuous assessment we selected 104 students who qualified for the criteria to receive the certificate. The top three students received special prize money of 1500 BDT, 1000 BDT and 500 BDT through Bkash.
Around 85 students along with the faculties of the Department of English and Green University Language Centre were present at the event. The event began at 3.00 PM and Mr Shamim Mondol, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Green University graced the program with his welcome speech, after which, Ms Serajum Munira, Assistant professor, Department of English and Director of Language Centre, Green University delivered the overview and highlighted the activities of the course. Our respected faculty Mr Mamunur Rashid Zaber, Lecturer, Language Centre displayed the digital certificates. After that the students who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd shared their experience with the audience.
