Successful Completion of the Mujib Borsho National Victory Day 2021 Quiz competition
Green University Language Center (GULC), in collaboration with the Center for Career Development (CCD) and the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL), successfully organized a Quiz Competition on December 11 celebrating the National Victory Day 2021.
Besides celebrating National Victory Day 2021, the quiz was to give the interested students an idea about the question pattern of public recruitment exams.
The quiz was based on a portion of the syllabus set by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) for public recruitment exams such as Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) and others.
A total of 594 students registered for the quiz from different departments of the university. Following an intense preliminary round, 125 students qualified for the final round.
After the final round, the names of the top ten contestants were announced. Md. Sabbir Rahman Ananda from CSE, Rukaiya Ahmed from Department of Law, and Md. Rayhan Ahmed from CSE attained the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions respectively. The event was live-streamed through the GULC Facebook page.
Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, honorable Vice-Chancellor of GUB was the Chief Guest in the final round, and the Honorable Advisor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque was present as Special Guest. The event was also graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Shtradhar, Chairman, Department of Textiles; Mr. Saiful Islam, the acting Registrar; Biplob Kanti Das, directors of CCD; Ms. Serajum Munira, Director of GULC and the faculty members of GULC and CETL.
