Successful Completion of the Webinar titled ”বিদেশি ভাষা শেখার গুরুত্ব ও সম্ভাবনাঃ প্রেক্ষিত বাংলাদেশ”
With a feeling of great pleasure and contentment, we would like to share with you that the Green University Language Center (GULC) successfully organized a webinar titled ‘বিদেশি ভাষা শেখার গুরুত্ব ও সম্ভাবনাঃ প্রেক্ষিত বাংলাদেশ’ at 8 pm on 7th November 2022. Since GULC believes in involving all the students of the Green University of Bangladesh in intellectual practice and in encouraging them to sharpen their communication skills required for future professional life, we organized this webinar focusing on the benefits and opportunities of learning foreign languages to provide students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and ardency about learning foreign languages including Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, English, Spanish, and French.
The webinar was started with the welcome remarks by Dr. Serajum Munira, Director, Language Center. There were 5 keynote speakers in the event. They all are the expert users and beneficiaries of the respective languages they talked about. The speakers highlighted different opportunities including job, study, freelancing, and immigration, a person may receive after learning foreign languages inside and outside Bangladesh.
For the convenience of the participants, the event was held online with the participation of around 150 students was from all the departments of GUB.
With the support and encouragement of the GUB family, the GULC hopes to continue organizing such events in the future.
