Webinar on Your Road to USA: Language Tests, Preparations & Strategies

The Green University Language Center and the Green University Club for Languages in collaboration with the EducationUSA of the EMK Center, Dhaka, organized a virtual seminar titled “Your Road to USA: Language Tests, Preparations & Strategies” through the ZOOM virtual plat-format on July 19, 2022. The event was designed for GUB students who are fresh graduates or are about to graduate and who are planning to undertake higher studies abroad. The seminar focused on providing guidelines on various language and aptitude tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE & GMAT, ways of writing a high-quality SOP, contacting university professors etc.

The anchor of the session, Ms. Tanzia Mobarak, Lecturer, Department of English and Language Center, welcomed all the attendees and respected guests at the beginning of the session. Afterwards, the Honorable Chair of the Session, Ms. Serajum Munira, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English, and Director, Language Center, delivered a warm welcome speech. Next, valuable discussions from the two Honorable Keynote Speakers, Mr. Hasan Mahmud, English Language Trainer, Founder & CEO, Bornil Academy, and Mr. Ruhul Amin, EducationUSA Outreach Coordinator, Edward M. Kennedy Center, enriched the audience. Their discussion was followed by an intriguing question answer session. With around 95 participants, the event came to a successful end and was highly praised by the guests and attendees.
